Quadro RTX 5000 vs Quadro P4000 specs and performance

In our benchmarks, the Quadro RTX 5000 beats the Quadro P4000 in gaming performance.

Our database shows that the Quadro RTX 5000 has a slightly higher core clock speed. This is the frequency at which the graphics core is running at. While not necessarily an indicator of overall performance, this metric can be useful when comparing two GPUs based on the same architecture. In addition, the Quadro RTX 5000 also has a slightly higher boost clock speed. The boost clock speed is the frequency that the GPU core can reach if the temperature is low enough. The allows for higher performance in certain scenarios.

In addition, the Quadro P4000 has a significantly lower TDP at 105 W when compared to the Quadro RTX 5000 at 230 W. TDP (Thermal Design Power) measures total heat output from the chip.

In terms of raw gaming performance in our GPU benchmark, the Quadro RTX 5000 is better than the Quadro P4000.
