Quadro RTX 3000 vs Quadro RTX 5000 Max-Q specs and performance
For gaming, the Quadro RTX 5000 Max-Q graphics card is better than the Quadro RTX 3000 in our tests.
In our comparison, the Quadro RTX 3000 has a significantly higher core clock speed. The core clock speed (or base speed) is the frequency at which the GPU core runs. This metric makes sense when comparing GPUs of a similar architecture or generation.
As stated by the manufacturer, the Quadro RTX 5000 Max-Q has significantly more memory with 16 GiB of memory compared to 6 GiB. If you're planning at playing games at high resolutions with high-quality textures, you will need a lot of memory.
In addition, both the Quadro RTX 3000 and the Quadro RTX 5000 Max-Q have an identical TDP. TDP (Thermal Design Power) measures total heat output from the chip.
According to the results of the hardwareDB benchmark utility, the Quadro RTX 5000 Max-Q is faster than the Quadro RTX 3000.
