Quadro RTX 3000 Max-Q vs Radeon RX 6700S benchmarks

In our benchmarks, the Quadro RTX 3000 Max-Q beats the Radeon RX 6700S in gaming performance.

In our comparison, the Radeon RX 6700S has a significantly higher core clock speed. This is the frequency at which the graphics core is running at. While not necessarily an indicator of overall performance, this metric can be useful when comparing two GPUs based on the same architecture. In addition, the Radeon RX 6700S also has a significantly higher boost clock speed. This is a frequency that can be reached if the GPU is cooled sufficiently and has enough power.

Next up, in terms of GPU memory, the Radeon RX 6700S has slightly more memory with 8 GiB of memory compared to 6 GiB. Memory size doesn't directly affect performance, but too little memory will certainly degrade gaming performance.

In addition, the Quadro RTX 3000 Max-Q has a slightly lower TDP at 60 W when compared to the Radeon RX 6700S at 80 W. This is not a measure of performance, but rather the amount of heat generated by the chip when running at its highest speed.

In terms of raw gaming performance in our GPU benchmark, the Quadro RTX 3000 Max-Q is better than the Radeon RX 6700S.
