Quadro P3000 vs Quadro P4200 comparison
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark, the Quadro P4200 GPU is faster than the Quadro P3000 in gaming.
In our comparison, the Quadro P4200 has a slightly higher core clock speed. This is the frequency at which the graphics core is running at. While not necessarily an indicator of overall performance, this metric can be useful when comparing two GPUs based on the same architecture.
Furthermore, the spec sheet for both these GPUs show that the Quadro P4200 has slightly more memory with 8 GiB of memory compared to 6 GiB. Memory size doesn't directly affect performance, but too little memory will certainly degrade gaming performance.
In addition, the Quadro P3000 has a slightly lower TDP at 75 W when compared to the Quadro P4200 at 100 W. Heat output doesn't match power consumption directly but, it's a good estimate.
In terms of raw gaming performance in our GPU benchmark, the Quadro P4200 is better than the Quadro P3000.
