Quadro P2000 vs Radeon HD 7990 comparison

In our benchmarks, the Radeon HD 7990 beats the Quadro P2000 in gaming performance.

In our comparison, the Quadro P2000 has a slightly higher core clock speed. The core clock speed (or base speed) is the frequency at which the GPU core runs. This metric makes sense when comparing GPUs of a similar architecture or generation. In addition, the Quadro P2000 also has a significantly higher boost clock speed: the maximum frequency the chip can reach if power delivery and thermals allow.

In addition, the Quadro P2000 has a significantly lower TDP at 75 W when compared to the Radeon HD 7990 at 375 W. This is not a measure of performance, but rather the amount of heat generated by the chip when running at its highest speed.

According to the results of the hardwareDB benchmark utility, the Radeon HD 7990 is faster than the Quadro P2000.
