Quadro M4000 vs Quadro P4200 comparison

For gaming, the Quadro P4200 graphics card is better than the Quadro M4000 in our tests.

The Quadro P4200 has a significantly higher core clock speed. This is the frequency at which the graphics core is running at. While not necessarily an indicator of overall performance, this metric can be useful when comparing two GPUs based on the same architecture.

As stated by the manufacturer, they both have the same amount of memory at 8 GiB. Lots of memory is good when playing at high resolutions or with many monitors.

In addition, the Quadro P4200 has a slightly lower TDP at 100 W when compared to the Quadro M4000 at 120 W. TDP (Thermal Design Power) measures total heat output from the chip.

In terms of raw gaming performance in our GPU benchmark, the Quadro P4200 is better than the Quadro M4000.
