Quadro M2000M vs GeForce 940MX specs and performance

For gaming, the Quadro M2000M graphics card is better than the GeForce 940MX in our tests.

The Quadro M2000M has a slightly higher core clock speed. This is the frequency at which the graphics core is running at. While not necessarily an indicator of overall performance, this metric can be useful when comparing two GPUs based on the same architecture. Despite this, the GeForce 940MX has a slightly higher boost clock speed. The boost clock speed is the frequency that the GPU core can reach if the temperature is low enough. The allows for higher performance in certain scenarios.

In addition, the GeForce 940MX has a significantly lower TDP at 23 W when compared to the Quadro M2000M at 55 W. TDP (Thermal Design Power) measures total heat output from the chip.

In terms of raw gaming performance in our GPU benchmark, the Quadro M2000M is better than the GeForce 940MX.
