Quadro K5200 vs Quadro RTX 4000 benchmarks

For gaming, the Quadro RTX 4000 graphics card is better than the Quadro K5200 in our tests.

In our comparison, the Quadro RTX 4000 has a significantly higher core clock speed. The core clock speed (or base speed) is the frequency at which the GPU core runs. This metric makes sense when comparing GPUs of a similar architecture or generation. In addition, the Quadro RTX 4000 also has a significantly higher boost clock speed. The boost clock speed is the frequency that the GPU core can reach if the temperature is low enough. The allows for higher performance in certain scenarios.

Next up, in terms of GPU memory, they both have the same amount of memory at 8 GiB. Memory size doesn't directly affect performance, but too little memory will certainly degrade gaming performance.

In addition, the Quadro K5200 has a slightly lower TDP at 150 W when compared to the Quadro RTX 4000 at 160 W. This is not a measure of performance, but rather the amount of heat generated by the chip when running at its highest speed.

In terms of raw gaming performance in our GPU benchmark, the Quadro RTX 4000 is better than the Quadro K5200.
