Phenom II X6 1100T vs Xeon X5650 comparison
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Phenom II X6 1100T is faster than the Xeon X5650. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Xeon X5650 in all gaming tests too.
Info from our database shows that they both have the same core count but the Xeon X5650 has more threads. With our hardware info, we find that the Phenom II X6 1100T has a slightly higher clock speed than the Xeon X5650. The info from our database shows that the Phenom II X6 1100T has more L2 cache than the Xeon X5650. Despite this, the Xeon X5650 has significantly more L3 cache compared to the Phenom II X6 1100T.
The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking. Many CPUs have more threads than cores, this means that each physical core is split into multiple logical cores, making them more efficient. For instance, the Phenom II X6 1100T has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
