Phenom II X6 1100T vs Core 7 150U benchmarks

Our benchmark analysis concludes that the Phenom II X6 1100T performs better than the Core 7 150U. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Core 7 150U in all gaming tests too.

With info from our database, we find that the Core 7 150U has significantly more cores with 10 cores whereas the Phenom II X6 1100T has 6 cores. It also has more threads than the Phenom II X6 1100T. With our hardware info, we find that the Phenom II X6 1100T has a significantly higher clock speed than the Core 7 150U. In terms of cache, the Core 7 150U has significantly more L2 cache when compared to the Phenom II X6 1100T. The Core 7 150U also has significantly more L3 cache.

Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. For instance, the Phenom II X6 1100T has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
