Phenom II X6 1055T vs Ryzen 5 PRO 3350GE specs and performance
Our benchmark analysis concludes that the Ryzen 5 PRO 3350GE performs better than the Phenom II X6 1055T. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Phenom II X6 1055T in all gaming tests too.
With info from our database, we find that the Phenom II X6 1055T has significantly more cores with 6 cores whereas the Ryzen 5 PRO 3350GE has 4 cores. Despite this, the Ryzen 5 PRO 3350GE has more threads than the Phenom II X6 1055T. With our hardware info, we find that the Ryzen 5 PRO 3350GE has a slightly higher clock speed than the Phenom II X6 1055T. The cache sizes of these CPUs are different. Indeed, the Phenom II X6 1055T has significantly more L2 cache than the Ryzen 5 PRO 3350GE. The Phenom II X6 1055T also has significantly more L3 cache.
Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. For instance, the Phenom II X6 1055T has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
