Phenom II X4 B50 vs Pentium 6805 specs and performance
In our benchmarks, the Pentium 6805 beats the Phenom II X4 B50 in overall performance. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Phenom II X4 B50 in all gaming tests too.
In terms of the number of cores of each of these CPUs, the Phenom II X4 B50 has significantly more cores than the Pentium 6805. Indeed, the Phenom II X4 B50 has 4 cores compared to 2 cores found in the Pentium 6805. But they both have the same number of threads. With our hardware info, we find that the Phenom II X4 B50 has a significantly higher clock speed than the Pentium 6805. In terms of cache, the Phenom II X4 B50 has significantly more L2 cache when compared to the Pentium 6805. The Phenom II X4 B50 also has significantly more L3 cache.
Modern CPUs generally have more logical cores than physical cores, this means that each core is split into multiple virtual cores, improving efficiency for parallel workloads. For instance, the Phenom II X4 B50 has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
