Pentium Silver N6000 vs Xeon E5-440 specs and performance
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Xeon E5-440 is faster than the Pentium Silver N6000. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Pentium Silver N6000 in all gaming tests too.
Info from our database shows that they both have the same core count and the same number of threads. With our hardware info, we find that the Xeon E5-440 has a significantly higher clock speed than the Pentium Silver N6000. A Pentium Silver N6000 CPU outputs less heat than a Xeon E5-440 CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.
Modern CPUs generally have more logical cores than physical cores, this means that each core is split into multiple virtual cores, improving efficiency for parallel workloads. For instance, the Pentium Silver N6000 has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
