Pentium Silver N6000 vs Ryzen 3 PRO 2100GE specs and performance
Our benchmark analysis concludes that the Ryzen 3 PRO 2100GE performs better than the Pentium Silver N6000. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Pentium Silver N6000 in all gaming tests too.
In terms of the number of cores of each of these CPUs, the Pentium Silver N6000 has significantly more cores than the Ryzen 3 PRO 2100GE. Indeed, the Pentium Silver N6000 has 4 cores compared to 2 cores found in the Ryzen 3 PRO 2100GE. But they both have the same number of threads. With our hardware info, we find that the Ryzen 3 PRO 2100GE has a significantly higher clock speed than the Pentium Silver N6000.
The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking. Many CPUs have more threads than cores, this means that each physical core is split into multiple logical cores, making them more efficient. For instance, the Pentium Silver N6000 has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
