Pentium Silver N6000 vs Athlon X4 760K benchmarks

In our benchmarks, the Pentium Silver N6000 beats the Athlon X4 760K in overall performance. Despite this, the Athlon X4 760K has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.

With info from our database, we find that the Pentium Silver N6000 has significantly more cores with 4 cores whereas the Athlon X4 760K has 2 cores. But they both have the same number of threads. With our hardware info, we find that the Athlon X4 760K has a significantly higher clock speed than the Pentium Silver N6000.

The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking. Many CPUs have more threads than cores, this means that each physical core is split into multiple logical cores, making them more efficient. For instance, the Pentium Silver N6000 has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
