Pentium Silver N6000 vs A9-9420e specs and performance
In our benchmarks, the Pentium Silver N6000 beats the A9-9420e in overall performance. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the A9-9420e in all gaming tests too.
With info from our database, we find that the Pentium Silver N6000 has significantly more cores with 4 cores whereas the A9-9420e has 2 cores. It also has more threads than the A9-9420e. These CPUs have different clock speeds. Indeed, the A9-9420e has a significantly higher clock speed compared to the Pentium Silver N6000.
The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking. Many CPUs have more threads than cores, this means that each physical core is split into multiple logical cores, making them more efficient. For instance, the Pentium Silver N6000 has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
