Pentium Silver N5030 vs Pentium G645 benchmarks
Our benchmark analysis concludes that the Pentium G645 performs better than the Pentium Silver N5030. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Pentium Silver N5030 in all gaming tests too.
In terms of the number of cores of each of these CPUs, the Pentium Silver N5030 has significantly more cores than the Pentium G645. Indeed, the Pentium Silver N5030 has 4 cores compared to 2 cores found in the Pentium G645. It also has more threads than the Pentium G645. These CPUs have different clock speeds. Indeed, the Pentium G645 has a significantly higher clock speed compared to the Pentium Silver N5030. A Pentium Silver N5030 CPU outputs less heat than a Pentium G645 CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.
Modern CPUs generally have more logical cores than physical cores, this means that each core is split into multiple virtual cores, improving efficiency for parallel workloads. For instance, the Pentium Silver N5030 has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
