Pentium Silver N5030 vs Pentium E5800 comparison
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Pentium Silver N5030 is faster than the Pentium E5800. Despite this, the Pentium E5800 has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.
With info from our database, we find that the Pentium Silver N5030 has significantly more cores with 4 cores whereas the Pentium E5800 has 2 cores. It also has more threads than the Pentium E5800. With our hardware info, we find that the Pentium E5800 has a significantly higher clock speed than the Pentium Silver N5030. A Pentium Silver N5030 CPU outputs less heat than a Pentium E5800 CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.
Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. For instance, the Pentium Silver N5030 has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
