Pentium N4200 vs A9-9425 comparison
In our benchmarks, the A9-9425 beats the Pentium N4200 in overall performance. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Pentium N4200 in all gaming tests too.
In terms of the number of cores of each of these CPUs, the Pentium N4200 has significantly more cores than the A9-9425. Indeed, the Pentium N4200 has 4 cores compared to 2 cores found in the A9-9425. It also has more threads than the A9-9425. These CPUs have different clock speeds. Indeed, the A9-9425 has a significantly higher clock speed compared to the Pentium N4200. A Pentium N4200 CPU outputs less heat than a A9-9425 CPU because of its significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.
Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. For instance, the Pentium N4200 has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
