Pentium G4520 vs Pentium G4560 benchmarks
In our benchmarks, the Pentium G4560 beats the Pentium G4520 in overall performance. Despite this, the Pentium G4520 has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.
Our spec comparison shows that they have an identical amount of cores but the Pentium G4560 has more threads. These CPUs have different clock speeds. Indeed, the Pentium G4520 has a slightly higher clock speed compared to the Pentium G4560. A Pentium G4520 CPU outputs less heat than a Pentium G4560 CPU because of its slightly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption. When comparing cache sizes, these CPUs have an identical amount of L2 cache. The Pentium G4520 also has slightly more L3 cache.
Modern CPUs generally have more logical cores than physical cores, this means that each core is split into multiple virtual cores, improving efficiency for parallel workloads. For instance, the Pentium G4520 has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
