Pentium G4400 vs Pentium Silver N6000 specs and performance
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Pentium Silver N6000 is faster than the Pentium G4400. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Pentium G4400 in all gaming tests too.
In terms of the number of cores of each of these CPUs, the Pentium Silver N6000 has significantly more cores than the Pentium G4400. Indeed, the Pentium Silver N6000 has 4 cores compared to 2 cores found in the Pentium G4400. It also has more threads than the Pentium G4400. Our comparison shows that the Pentium G4400 has a significantly higher clock speed compared to the Pentium Silver N6000. The Pentium Silver N6000 outputs less heat than Pentium G4400 thanks to a significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.
The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking. Many CPUs have more threads than cores, this means that each physical core is split into multiple logical cores, making them more efficient. For instance, the Pentium G4400 has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
