Pentium G4400 vs N100 benchmarks

According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Pentium G4400 is faster than the N100. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the N100 in all gaming tests too.

When comparing core counts for these CPUs, we notice that the N100 has significantly more cores with 4 cores compared to the Pentium G4400 that has 2 cores. It also has more threads than the Pentium G4400. Our comparison shows that the Pentium G4400 has a significantly higher clock speed compared to the N100. The cache sizes of these CPUs are different. Indeed, the N100 has significantly more L2 cache than the Pentium G4400. The N100 also has significantly more L3 cache.

Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. For instance, the Pentium G4400 has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
