Pentium G4400 vs Athlon Silver 3050U specs and performance
In our benchmarks, the Pentium G4400 beats the Athlon Silver 3050U in overall performance. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Athlon Silver 3050U in all gaming tests too.
Our spec comparison shows that they have an identical amount of cores and the same number of threads. These CPUs have different clock speeds. Indeed, the Pentium G4400 has a significantly higher clock speed compared to the Athlon Silver 3050U. In terms of cache, the Athlon Silver 3050U has significantly more L2 cache when compared to the Pentium G4400. However, both these chips have the same amount of L3 cache.
The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking. Many CPUs have more threads than cores, this means that each physical core is split into multiple logical cores, making them more efficient. For instance, the Pentium G4400 has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
