Pentium G3460 vs Ryzen 5 PRO 2400GE specs and performance
Our benchmark analysis concludes that the Ryzen 5 PRO 2400GE performs better than the Pentium G3460. Despite this, the Pentium G3460 has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.
When comparing core counts for these CPUs, we notice that the Ryzen 5 PRO 2400GE has significantly more cores with 4 cores compared to the Pentium G3460 that has 2 cores. It also has more threads than the Pentium G3460. These CPUs have different clock speeds. Indeed, the Pentium G3460 has a slightly higher clock speed compared to the Ryzen 5 PRO 2400GE. The Ryzen 5 PRO 2400GE outputs less heat than Pentium G3460 thanks to a significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.
