Pentium G3250 vs Pentium Silver N5030 comparison
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Pentium G3250 is faster than the Pentium Silver N5030. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Pentium Silver N5030 in all gaming tests too.
With info from our database, we find that the Pentium Silver N5030 has significantly more cores with 4 cores whereas the Pentium G3250 has 2 cores. It also has more threads than the Pentium G3250. These CPUs have different clock speeds. Indeed, the Pentium G3250 has a significantly higher clock speed compared to the Pentium Silver N5030. The Pentium Silver N5030 outputs less heat than Pentium G3250 thanks to a significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.
Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. For instance, the Pentium G3250 has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
