Pentium G3250 vs Pentium N4200 benchmarks

Our benchmark analysis concludes that the Pentium G3250 performs better than the Pentium N4200. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Pentium N4200 in all gaming tests too.

With info from our database, we find that the Pentium N4200 has significantly more cores with 4 cores whereas the Pentium G3250 has 2 cores. It also has more threads than the Pentium G3250. Our comparison shows that the Pentium G3250 has a significantly higher clock speed compared to the Pentium N4200. The Pentium N4200 outputs less heat than Pentium G3250 thanks to a significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.

Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. For instance, the Pentium G3250 has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
