Pentium E6300 vs Pentium N3710 specs and performance
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Pentium E6300 is faster than the Pentium N3710. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Pentium N3710 in all gaming tests too.
When comparing core counts for these CPUs, we notice that the Pentium N3710 has significantly more cores with 4 cores compared to the Pentium E6300 that has 2 cores. It also has more threads than the Pentium E6300. Our comparison shows that the Pentium E6300 has a slightly higher clock speed compared to the Pentium N3710. The Pentium N3710 outputs less heat than Pentium E6300 thanks to a significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.
Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. For instance, the Pentium E6300 has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
