Pentium E6300 vs Celeron 1005M comparison
Our benchmark analysis concludes that the Celeron 1005M performs better than the Pentium E6300. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Pentium E6300 in all gaming tests too.
Info from our database shows that they both have the same core count and the same number of threads. With our hardware info, we find that the Pentium E6300 has a slightly higher clock speed than the Celeron 1005M. The Celeron 1005M outputs less heat than Pentium E6300 thanks to a significantly lower TDP. This measures the amount of heat they output and can be used to estimate power consumption.
Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. For instance, the Pentium E6300 has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
