Pentium 6805 vs N95 specs and performance

In our benchmarks, the N95 beats the Pentium 6805 in overall performance. Despite this, the Pentium 6805 has the advantage in our gaming benchmark.

With info from our database, we find that the N95 has significantly more cores with 4 cores whereas the Pentium 6805 has 2 cores. But they both have the same number of threads. Our comparison shows that the N95 has a significantly higher clock speed compared to the Pentium 6805. The cache sizes of these CPUs are different. Indeed, the N95 has significantly more L2 cache than the Pentium 6805. The N95 also has significantly more L3 cache.

Modern CPUs generally have more logical cores than physical cores, this means that each core is split into multiple virtual cores, improving efficiency for parallel workloads. Indeed, the Pentium 6805 has more threads than cores. Each physical core is split into multiple threads.
