Pentium 2020M vs N100 comparison

Our benchmark analysis concludes that the N100 performs better than the Pentium 2020M. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the Pentium 2020M in all gaming tests too.

With info from our database, we find that the N100 has significantly more cores with 4 cores whereas the Pentium 2020M has 2 cores. It also has more threads than the Pentium 2020M. Our comparison shows that the Pentium 2020M has a significantly higher clock speed compared to the N100.

Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. For instance, the Pentium 2020M has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
