N100 vs Ryzen 7 8845HS benchmarks

Our benchmark analysis concludes that the Ryzen 7 8845HS performs better than the N100. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the N100 in all gaming tests too.

With info from our database, we find that the Ryzen 7 8845HS has significantly more cores with 8 cores whereas the N100 has 4 cores. It also has more threads than the N100. Our comparison shows that the Ryzen 7 8845HS has a significantly higher clock speed compared to the N100. The cache sizes of these CPUs are different. Indeed, the Ryzen 7 8845HS has significantly more L2 cache than the N100. The Ryzen 7 8845HS also has significantly more L3 cache.

Most CPUs have more threads than cores. This technology, colloquially called hyperthreading, improves performance by splitting a core into multiple virtual ones. This provides more efficient utilisation of a core. For instance, the N100 has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
