N100 vs Core i5-14500 specs and performance

According to the hardwareDB Benchmark tool, the Core i5-14500 is faster than the N100. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the N100 in all gaming tests too.

With info from our database, we find that the Core i5-14500 has significantly more cores with 14 cores whereas the N100 has 4 cores. It also has more threads than the N100. These CPUs have different clock speeds. Indeed, the Core i5-14500 has a significantly higher clock speed compared to the N100. The info from our database shows that the Core i5-14500 has more L2 cache than the N100. The Core i5-14500 also has significantly more L3 cache.

The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking. Many CPUs have more threads than cores, this means that each physical core is split into multiple logical cores, making them more efficient. For instance, the N100 has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
