N100 vs Core i3-1215U comparison

In our benchmarks, the Core i3-1215U beats the N100 in overall performance. Furthermore, our gaming benchmark shows that it also outperforms the N100 in all gaming tests too.

With info from our database, we find that the Core i3-1215U has significantly more cores with 6 cores whereas the N100 has 4 cores. It also has more threads than the N100. These CPUs have different clock speeds. Indeed, the Core i3-1215U has a significantly higher clock speed compared to the N100. In terms of cache, the Core i3-1215U has significantly more L2 cache when compared to the N100. The Core i3-1215U also has significantly more L3 cache.

The more cores a CPU has, the better the overall performance will be in parallel workloads such as multitasking. Many CPUs have more threads than cores, this means that each physical core is split into multiple logical cores, making them more efficient. For instance, the N100 has the same number of threads as cores. This means the the CPU does not support hyperthreading.
