For gaming, the Iris Xe graphics card is better than the Radeon Vega 6 in our tests.

By comparing the spec sheets, both the Iris Xe and the Radeon Vega 6 have the same base clock speed. Despite this, the Radeon Vega 6 has a significantly higher boost clock speed. The boost clock speed is the frequency that the GPU core can reach if the temperature is low enough. The allows for higher performance in certain scenarios.

In addition, the Iris Xe has a significantly lower TDP at 15 W when compared to the Radeon Vega 6 at 45 W. TDP (Thermal Design Power) measures total heat output from the chip.
