Iris Xe vs Iris Xe MAX comparison

In our benchmarks, the Iris Xe beats the Iris Xe MAX in gaming performance.

Our database shows that both the Iris Xe and Iris Xe MAX both have the same core clock speed. Despite this, the Iris Xe MAX has a significantly higher boost clock speed. The boost clock speed is the frequency that the GPU core can reach if the temperature is low enough. The allows for higher performance in certain scenarios.

In addition, the Iris Xe has a significantly lower TDP at 15 W when compared to the Iris Xe MAX at 25 W. Heat output doesn't match power consumption directly but, it's a good estimate.

In conclusion, all specs and GPU benchmarks considered, will recommend the Iris Xe over the Iris Xe MAX.
