Iris Pro 5200 vs UHD 730 specs and performance

For gaming, the UHD 730 graphics card is better than the Iris Pro 5200 in our tests.

The UHD 730 has a significantly higher core clock speed. This is the frequency at which the graphics core is running at. While not necessarily an indicator of overall performance, this metric can be useful when comparing two GPUs based on the same architecture. In addition, the UHD 730 also has a slightly higher boost clock speed. The boost clock speed is the frequency that the GPU core can reach if the temperature is low enough. The allows for higher performance in certain scenarios.

In addition, the UHD 730 has a significantly lower TDP at 15 W when compared to the Iris Pro 5200 at 45 W. This is not a measure of performance, but rather the amount of heat generated by the chip when running at its highest speed.

In conclusion, all specs and GPU benchmarks considered, will recommend the UHD 730 over the Iris Pro 5200.
