Iris Plus 655 vs Radeon RX 640 specs and performance
In our benchmarks, the Radeon RX 640 beats the Iris Plus 655 in gaming performance.
Our database shows that the Radeon RX 640 has a significantly higher core clock speed. This is the frequency at which the graphics core is running at. While not necessarily an indicator of overall performance, this metric can be useful when comparing two GPUs based on the same architecture. In addition, the Radeon RX 640 also has a slightly higher boost clock speed. The boost clock speed is the frequency that the GPU core can reach if the temperature is low enough. The allows for higher performance in certain scenarios.
In addition, the Iris Plus 655 has a significantly lower TDP at 15 W when compared to the Radeon RX 640 at 50 W. This is not a measure of performance, but rather the amount of heat generated by the chip when running at its highest speed.
In terms of raw gaming performance in our GPU benchmark, the Radeon RX 640 is better than the Iris Plus 655.
