Iris Plus 655 vs GeForce MX250 benchmarks

In our benchmarks, the GeForce MX250 beats the Iris Plus 655 in gaming performance.

The GeForce MX250 has a significantly higher core clock speed. This is the frequency at which the graphics core is running at. While not necessarily an indicator of overall performance, this metric can be useful when comparing two GPUs based on the same architecture. Despite this, the Iris Plus 655 has a slightly higher boost clock speed. The boost clock speed is the frequency that the GPU core can reach if the temperature is low enough. The allows for higher performance in certain scenarios.

In addition, the GeForce MX250 has a significantly lower TDP at 10 W when compared to the Iris Plus 655 at 15 W. This is not a measure of performance, but rather the amount of heat generated by the chip when running at its highest speed.
