Iris Plus 650 vs GeForce GTX 650 benchmarks
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark, the Iris Plus 650 GPU is faster than the GeForce GTX 650 in gaming.
The GeForce GTX 650 has a significantly higher core clock speed. The core clock speed (or base speed) is the frequency at which the GPU core runs. This metric makes sense when comparing GPUs of a similar architecture or generation.
Furthermore, the spec sheet for both these GPUs show that the GeForce GTX 650 has significantly more memory with 2 GiB of memory compared to 0.5 GiB. Memory size doesn't directly affect performance, but too little memory will certainly degrade gaming performance.
In addition, the Iris Plus 650 has a significantly lower TDP at 15 W when compared to the GeForce GTX 650 at 64 W. Heat output doesn't match power consumption directly but, it's a good estimate.
In terms of raw gaming performance in our GPU benchmark, the Iris Plus 650 is better than the GeForce GTX 650.
