For gaming, the Iris 6100 graphics card is better than the GeForce GT 740M in our tests.
In addition, the Iris 6100 has a significantly lower TDP at 15 W when compared to the GeForce GT 740M at 33 W. Heat output doesn't match power consumption directly but, it's a good estimate.
