Iris 550 vs UHD specs and performance

For gaming, the Iris 550 graphics card is better than the UHD in our tests.

By comparing the spec sheets, both the Iris 550 and the UHD have the same base clock speed. Despite this, the UHD has a slightly higher boost clock speed. The boost clock speed is the frequency that the GPU core can reach if the temperature is low enough. The allows for higher performance in certain scenarios.

In addition, both the Iris 550 and the UHD have an identical TDP. TDP (Thermal Design Power) measures total heat output from the chip.

According to the results of the hardwareDB benchmark utility, the Iris 550 is faster than the UHD.
