Iris 550 vs Iris Plus 655 benchmarks

For gaming, the Iris 550 graphics card is better than the Iris Plus 655 in our tests.

By comparing the spec sheets, both the Iris 550 and the Iris Plus 655 have the same base clock speed. Despite this, the Iris Plus 655 has a slightly higher boost clock speed. The boost clock speed is the frequency that the GPU core can reach if the temperature is low enough. The allows for higher performance in certain scenarios.

In addition, both the Iris 550 and the Iris Plus 655 have an identical TDP. TDP (Thermal Design Power) measures total heat output from the chip.

In terms of raw gaming performance in our GPU benchmark, the Iris 550 is better than the Iris Plus 655.
