Iris 5100 vs GeForce 940M benchmarks

According to the hardwareDB Benchmark, the GeForce 940M GPU is faster than the Iris 5100 in gaming.

Our database shows that the GeForce 940M has a significantly higher core clock speed. This is the frequency at which the graphics core is running at. While not necessarily an indicator of overall performance, this metric can be useful when comparing two GPUs based on the same architecture. Despite this, the Iris 5100 has a slightly higher boost clock speed. The boost clock speed is the frequency that the GPU core can reach if the temperature is low enough. The allows for higher performance in certain scenarios.

In addition, the Iris 5100 has a significantly lower TDP at 30 W when compared to the GeForce 940M at 75 W. Heat output doesn't match power consumption directly but, it's a good estimate.

According to the results of the hardwareDB benchmark utility, the GeForce 940M is faster than the Iris 5100.
