HD 630 vs Iris Plus 640 comparison
According to the hardwareDB Benchmark, the Iris Plus 640 GPU is faster than the HD 630 in gaming.
Our database shows that the HD 630 has a slightly higher core clock speed. This is the frequency at which the graphics core is running at. While not necessarily an indicator of overall performance, this metric can be useful when comparing two GPUs based on the same architecture. Despite this, the Iris Plus 640 has a slightly higher boost clock speed: the maximum frequency the chip can reach if power delivery and thermals allow.
In addition, both the HD 630 and the Iris Plus 640 have an identical TDP. TDP (Thermal Design Power) measures total heat output from the chip.
In terms of raw gaming performance in our GPU benchmark, the Iris Plus 640 is better than the HD 630.
