HD 630 vs GeForce GTX 780 specs and performance

In our benchmarks, the GeForce GTX 780 beats the HD 630 in gaming performance.

In our comparison, the GeForce GTX 780 has a significantly higher core clock speed. The core clock speed (or base speed) is the frequency at which the GPU core runs. This metric makes sense when comparing GPUs of a similar architecture or generation. Despite this, the HD 630 has a slightly higher boost clock speed: the maximum frequency the chip can reach if power delivery and thermals allow.

In addition, the HD 630 has a significantly lower TDP at 15 W when compared to the GeForce GTX 780 at 250 W. Heat output doesn't match power consumption directly but, it's a good estimate.

In terms of raw gaming performance in our GPU benchmark, the GeForce GTX 780 is better than the HD 630.
