HD 620 vs Radeon Vega 8 specs and performance

In our benchmarks, the Radeon Vega 8 beats the HD 620 in gaming performance.

Our database shows that both the HD 620 and Radeon Vega 8 both have the same core clock speed. Despite this, the Radeon Vega 8 has a significantly higher boost clock speed: the maximum frequency the chip can reach if power delivery and thermals allow.

In addition, the HD 620 has a significantly lower TDP at 15 W when compared to the Radeon Vega 8 at 45 W. This is not a measure of performance, but rather the amount of heat generated by the chip when running at its highest speed.

According to the results of the hardwareDB benchmark utility, the Radeon Vega 8 is faster than the HD 620.
