HD 530 vs GeForce GT 1030 specs and performance

For gaming, the GeForce GT 1030 graphics card is better than the HD 530 in our tests.

Our database shows that the GeForce GT 1030 has a significantly higher core clock speed. This is the frequency at which the graphics core is running at. While not necessarily an indicator of overall performance, this metric can be useful when comparing two GPUs based on the same architecture. In addition, the GeForce GT 1030 also has a significantly higher boost clock speed: the maximum frequency the chip can reach if power delivery and thermals allow.

In addition, the HD 530 has a significantly lower TDP at 15 W when compared to the GeForce GT 1030 at 30 W. Heat output doesn't match power consumption directly but, it's a good estimate.

In conclusion, all specs and GPU benchmarks considered, will recommend the GeForce GT 1030 over the HD 530.
