HD 520 vs Quadro RTX 3000 Max-Q comparison
For gaming, the Quadro RTX 3000 Max-Q graphics card is better than the HD 520 in our tests.
Our database shows that the Quadro RTX 3000 Max-Q has a significantly higher core clock speed. The core clock speed (or base speed) is the frequency at which the GPU core runs. This metric makes sense when comparing GPUs of a similar architecture or generation. In addition, the Quadro RTX 3000 Max-Q also has a slightly higher boost clock speed: the maximum frequency the chip can reach if power delivery and thermals allow.
In addition, the HD 520 has a significantly lower TDP at 15 W when compared to the Quadro RTX 3000 Max-Q at 60 W. Heat output doesn't match power consumption directly but, it's a good estimate.
In terms of raw gaming performance in our GPU benchmark, the Quadro RTX 3000 Max-Q is better than the HD 520.
