HD 520 vs Iris Xe MAX comparison

In our benchmarks, the Iris Xe MAX beats the HD 520 in gaming performance.

Our database shows that both the HD 520 and Iris Xe MAX both have the same core clock speed. Despite this, the Iris Xe MAX has a significantly higher boost clock speed. The boost clock speed is the frequency that the GPU core can reach if the temperature is low enough. The allows for higher performance in certain scenarios.

In addition, the HD 520 has a significantly lower TDP at 15 W when compared to the Iris Xe MAX at 25 W. Heat output doesn't match power consumption directly but, it's a good estimate.

In terms of raw gaming performance in our GPU benchmark, the Iris Xe MAX is better than the HD 520.
