HD 520 vs Iris 6100 comparison

For gaming, the Iris 6100 graphics card is better than the HD 520 in our tests.

By comparing the spec sheets, both the HD 520 and the Iris 6100 have the same base clock speed. Despite this, the Iris 6100 has a slightly higher boost clock speed. The boost clock speed is the frequency that the GPU core can reach if the temperature is low enough. The allows for higher performance in certain scenarios.

In addition, both the HD 520 and the Iris 6100 have an identical TDP. This is not a measure of performance, but rather the amount of heat generated by the chip when running at its highest speed.

In terms of raw gaming performance in our GPU benchmark, the Iris 6100 is better than the HD 520.
